Yikes!!

When Carter looked out his window yesterday he found this slithering up to the house! It was pretty big too! It put my son in a panic since he is already terrified of snakes and has nightmares of them. So being the brave mom that I am, I tried to stab the snake with the shovel while hanging out the window(what? you thought I'd go outside to try and kill it? NO WAY!) When the snake started to get away I tried to throw the shovel and spear it, and that didn't work either. So when the nasty thing decided to come out of my flowers and show itself again by crawling across the driveway, I put the baby in the crib told Carter to watch from the window, got into the car, opened the garage door and tried to run it over! Several times. But the dang thing still managed to avoid my tires. It's a good thing we don't really have neighbors too close or they would have wondered "what in the world?" Oh well, I may have failed these attempts, but until next time snake...!

You are awesome!! I would have been screaming my head off with the kids. I can't even look out the window at those ugly slithering items. Carly's hair is way cute.

Such a brave little Jenners! Mommy is so proud of you! When I had a snake in my flower bed I asked Tom to get rid of it -- so he caught it and traded it to another kid for a lizard! So much better to have a lizard in the flowers rather than a creepy snake. Does Cooter thinks he is Rikki Tikki Tavi?

You are way braver than I am. I just call Ish and tell him he has to come home immediately. Tristan is terrified of everything. We get the same scream for a snake as a spider or a bee.

So funny, that gave me a good laugh! I wouldn't have even dared get in the car, I would be stuck in the house forever!
